The Wrestling Book Inventory is now live on Airtable!
Currently consisting of 492 books you can search the online database by book title, wrestler, author, or publishers. I've also begun to add a few tags (so you could filter on just books about British wrestling for example).
Background
I'm a big wrestling fan. I also really enjoy reading.
As a kid I had all the VHS videos, the Hasbro and Galoob figures, the annuals, the bedspread, and all the rest of it. Even when you're young there's something curiously collectable about anything wrestling related.
Much like my friends though, my interest in wrestling waned during my teens and early 20's, replaced by football and punk rock.
So when I rediscovered my love for the grappling game in the mid-2000s it quickly became an obsession and I wanted to immerse myself in what professional wrestling had evolved into.
Interestingly the books I could find were no longer limited to collections of basic wrestler profiles. There were actual biographies! Written by the wrestlers about their lives in and out of the ring. Some more interesting, or better written, than others but I couldn't get enough and a collection was soon forming.
I scoured the internet and compiled an ever growing spreadsheet that listed all the wrestling books I, either owned, or thought looked interesting.

The joys of the internet now means that this spreadsheet, or at least all the information, can be shared with all of you! Hence the Wrestling Book Inventory.
So if you also have a wrestling book obsession, or are just curious, I dare say it should come in handy.
You may be thinking there are probably loads of lists of wrestling books online already, and you'd be right, John Lister's Pro Wrestling Books website is excellent, but none I feel as definitive as this.
Help improve the Inventory
If you'd like to suggest a book, or offer feedback on how to improve the database, please email.
There are a few things I intend on tweaking (such as improving and applying the tags) and I'm curious to see if it'd be more useful if I added ratings and/or rarity and sorted by these rather than simply being in release year order.
Support the Inventory
If you find the Wrestling Book Inventory useful please share it far and wide.
You can also sign up for Airtable using my referral link. I receive $10 credit for each person that signs up for a free Airtable account with my link, which pays for one month of Airtable Plus.
Thanks!
